Students
Helping students take the next step in their journey toward Christ.
56 Ministry
5th and 6th Grade
Mission: To provide experiences that allow students to encounter truth, grow in truth, and share truth of Jesus.
56ers meet during the weekend experience to discover Biblical truths, grow in relationship with each other and have fun in the process. This is accomplished in a small group setting with ice breakers, video skits, exploring the bible, and praying together. Throughout the year, 56ers will have exciting opportunities to gather together with their peers for social interaction and crazy fun. They will also have service opportunities enabling them to grow their hearts for ministry and develop their leadership skills and gifts.
GSM
7th – 12th Grade
Mission: To equip students to be Empowered Leaders and Kingdom Workers in their sphere of influence for Christ.
Gateway Student Ministries is our ministry to Middle School and High School students, 7th-12th grades. We seek to come alongside parents to disciple our students into gospel-maturity.
We meet regularly on Wednesday from 6:30-8:45pm for youth group. Students will gather for a time of games, food, preaching of the Word, and Life Groups. Our goal every week is that they will walk through the doors feeling accepted as they are and walking out the doors feeling challenged to change for Christ.
Also before GSM begins on Wednesday, the building will be open to students to come hang out at the church from 4:30pm on to do homework, play games, meet with a leader etc. In addition, we offer many opportunities for students to develop relationships, use their spiritual gifts, and grow in their faith through youth conferences, retreats, service projects, and group events. In all we do, our desire is to see our students loving Christ, loving the church, and making disciples.
