Sherry and her husband, Bud, joined the Gateway family in 2009. They have two married children and six grandchildren, all who attend Gateway as well. In addition to serving in KidMin for a number of years, Sherry enjoys participating in Women’s Bible Studies, Life Groups, and Discovery Groups.

After serving as the volunteer bookkeeper for five years, Sherry joined Gateway’s staff in 2025. With approximately 30 years of experience in the corporate world, and over 15 years experience with various non-profits, Sherry brings a firm knowledge of accounting principles and a love for numbers to her job as Finance Coordinator. Serving the Lord in this type of behind-the-scenes capacity is her dream job.

Sherry is responsible for accurately maintaining Gateway’s general ledger accounts through data entry, reconciling all bank accounts, and providing monthly Financial Statements to the COEO and Board of Elders.
