Renee Markell
KIDS COORDINATOR
Renee has been attending Gateway since moving to Lancaster county in 2017. Since joining the Gateway family, she has been serving in many different ministries. Currently, Renee serves as a co-leader for the Precept upon Precept ladies Bible study.
Renee started serving in KIDS after some persuasion from a friend who needed help one Sunday morning. Believing that children were not “her thing”, that opinion quickly changed as she fell in love with the children of Gateway. As KIDS Coordinator Renee is excited to be able to use her gifts of administration and teaching to assist the KIDS director and serve the children in Gateway KIDS.
Outside of church Renee loves musical theater and has been performing for over 50 years. Fun fact before Renee came to Lancaster county in 2017 she attended Thursday night Bible study at Gateway while she was a performer at Sight and Sound Theater.
