Develop Intern

Carrie has been attending Gateway since 2012 with her husband Allen. Since childhood, she has always gravitated towards the older generation, loved to listen to the old stories, wisdom, and life experiences they would share.  At age 16 her first job was as a nursing aide in a home and she loved that generation ever since.  Tag teaming with Louann Brubaker, their vision, desire, and passion is to engage seniors in outreach programs in and outside our church. The main goal of 55 North is to allow them every opportunity to share their gifts, wisdom, knowledge, and love of the Lord with others.  Her life verse: ” The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His Mercies never come to an end.  They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness.”  Lamentation 3:22,23. Each day we can brighten a seniors day is a day we have shared God’s, steadfast love! Carrie is excited to participate in the DEVELOP intern program to learn how to lead seniors in a spiritual way God intends me to honor HIM and His Kingdom.
