// We can encounter Jesus by praying with someone after a Weekend Experience.

// Creating art together is a great way to worship and experience community as a team.

// Each Sunday, we embrace the mission of disciple-making by teaching kids about Jesus’ love.

Front of House Team

The Front of House Team is truly the “face” of Gateway. They’re the ones you see as you enter the building, maybe for the first time. They hand you a coffee, help you find a seat, pray with you, check your kids in, and connect you with the information that makes Gateway happen. This team is built of people who can use their gifts of loving people and making them feel welcome during the weekend experiences.

Kids & Students Team

Guiding our littlest ones to Jesus is no small task. From nursery up to high school seniors, this team is literally laying their foundations of faith. Providing a safe environment for kids to learn about Jesus also gives parents an opportunity to fully engage in worship, knowing their child is safe and loved. We believe kids are our future and every small group leader, check-in station member, room greeter, and storyteller is investing in the spiritual health and growth of Gateway families.

Worship Arts Team

The Worship Arts Team is vital for facilitating a communal encounter with Jesus. They unite us together and set the spiritual tone, preparing our hearts to receive and respond to the Holy Spirit. The primary goal is not to perform, but to guide. Focusing our hearts and minds toward God through worship each weekend is made possible by our musicians, vocalists, and sound/lights/media techs.

Creative Team

The media team is a group of creatives and strategic thinkers using their talents to help our community ENCOUNTER Jesus, EXPERIENCE Community, and EMBRACE mission. We have opportunities to use your God-given gifts in the areas of photography, videography, content creation, digital strategy, storytelling, and more.

Safety Team

This team is essential to keep Gateway a safe place to attend and serve. A secure environment provides the opportunity for spiritual growth to happen without fear or distraction. From managing risks to helping during a medical emergency, the Safety Team is a tangible expression of the church’s commitment for the well being – both physical and spiritual – of everyone who walks through our doors.

Set-up/Tear-down Team

Church can’t happen without every team, but this team truly sets Gateway up for encountering Jesus. Every chair that an excited visitor or weary soul sits in was placed there by a team member who prayed over their seat and carefully mapped out the room to make sure it’s accessible for everyone to feel welcome. They literally build the environment for worship, fellowship, teaching – everything that happens on a weekend. Their preparation is for both the important conversation happening on Sunday and also the cleared space ready for dozens of ministries to meet during the week.
