This public declaration before God, church family, and loved ones is a meaningful commitment to make! GTWY Church is honored to come alongside families that are pledging to model faith, teach Biblical values, and lead their little ones toward a personal relationship with Jesus.

>> Why we dedicate children.

This practice follows Biblical examples, such as Hannah dedicating Samuel or Mary and Joseph presenting Jesus. It does not secure salvation; rather, it is each family’s declaration that they are trusting the Lord to draw their child to Him as they nurture that young life with care.

We believe that faith is not just taught, it’s lived out in community. As a church, we are here to support and encourage you, as well as provide resources and a faith family to walk alongside you.

Family Dedications are held during a Sunday gathering and include our KIDS Director and a Pastor praying over the families, along with the congregation’s acknowledgment of their support.

>> Foundations of Dedication Class.

Before taking this next step, GTWY Kids offers a “Foundations of Dedication” class for families to connect, be encouraged, and learn together. This class will help you better understand what family dedication means here at GTWY Church and how we partner with you as you lead your child in faith.
